In 1956, the Grifoni family, master furniture restorers, opened their workshop in via Maggio, Florence, an area renowned for being the "antiquarians" district.

All along its nearly 50-year history, Vittorio Grifoni has preserved the rules of the "ancient techniques" of decoration and its furniture items reflect the touch of the ancient Florentine workshop.

The Grifoni family has dedicated itself to upholding the most ancient furniture construction and decoration techniques. All furniture is handmade using choice woods that are antiqued using natural methods; they are finished with wax and the inlays are made by master cabinet-makers.
